WHAT EQUIPMENT DOES WEIGHTED TWIST REQUIRE ?
Weight plate is required to perform this exercise.
HOW TO DO WEIGHTED TWIST ?
Performing the 8 steps below, you will be able to do this exercise properly:
- Be settled on the exercising mat with your legs extended and upper body erect.
- Hold a weighted plate with both your hands with your arms bent slightly.
- Raise your ankles by crossing them with each other and bend your knees.
- Pull yourself back to almost 15 degrees in order to balance your body.
- Exhale and turn your torso in the left direction, and make the plate touch the ground.
- Inhale your breathe and return to your starting position where you were not moving the weight.
- While exhaling repeat the same towards your right side.
- Alternate the above steps towards your left and right.

Yes! You may cause yourself a serious lower back injury if you perform this exercise by swinging your arms with a jerk or using momentum.
