This exercise helps in working out your Shoulders, chest and triceps.

Primary muscle:  Chest, Shoulders, Triceps are the primarily benefited muscles by performing this exercise.

 

WHAT EQUIPMENT DOES PUSHUPS USE?

No equipment is used for this exercise.

 

HOW TO DO PUSHUPS?

HOW TO DO PUSHUPS

Performing the 6 steps below, you will be able to do this exercise properly:

  1. Position yourself on the floor by placing your hands flat on the ground right below your shoulders.
  2. Stretch out your legs behind you with only your toes and balls of your feet rested on the ground.
  3. Keep your body straight and hold your abdominal muscles tightened.
  4. Keep your neck and head slightly backwards.
  5. Now push yourself lower towards the ground by bending your elbows until your chest slightly touches the ground and you feel a stretch in your chest.
  6. Hold for a count of one.
  7. Now you push upwards by straightening your arms and pushing your chest upwards.
  8. Repeat until you complete the desired reps.

This exercise is Moderate to Hard to perform.
