WHAT IS DECLINE PUSH UPS ?

Decline push ups is performed to build your chest, triceps and shoulders all the more stronger.

 

WHAT MUSCLES DOES DECLINE PUSH UPS WORKOUT ?

Primary muscle: Chest is primarily benefited by Decline push ups.
Secondary muscle: Shoulders, Triceps are secondarily effected by performing this exercise.

 

WHAT EQUIPMENT DOES DECLINE PUSH UPS REQUIRE?

This exercise does not need any equipment to help perform it.

 

HOW TO DO DECLINE PUSH UPS ?

Performing the 8 steps below, you will be able to do this exercise properly:
  1.  Put your feet on a bench.
  2. Tips of your feet should be pointing towards the bench.
  3. Position your hands shoulder’s width apart on the ground ,with your palms firmly facing the floor.
  4. Position your arms such that they make a 90 degrees angle.
  5. Slowly push your torso down towards the floor using your shoulders and elbows.
  6. Come back to the initial / starting position by pulling your torso up keeping your hips completely in-line with your body.

 

IS THERE ANY OTHER ALTERNATIVE TO PERFORM DECLINE PUSH UPS ?

Yes ! You can also perform decline push ups by resting your knees on the bench rather than your feet.

 

WHAT IS THE DIFFICULTY LEVEL OF WORKING OUT DECLINE PUSH UPS ?

This Exercise is Moderate to Easy to perform.
