Follow the following 7 steps below, and you shall be able to perform this exercise properly:
- Be seated on a decline bench with your feet been locked under the leg brace.
- Place a dumbbell each on either of your thighs.
- Grabbing those dumbbells in either of your hands, lie down on the decline bench.
- Position those dumbbells on either sides of your chest with your arms bent under the weight of the dumbbells.
- Now, Steadily push up the dumbbells with the help of your elbows such that your arms are fully extended above your body.
- Bring down the dumbbells to the initial / starting position with either of them placed on each side of your chest.
- Feel the stretch in your chest and shoulders while you perform step no. 6.
