Hey Friends!

It’s time this week to know the third member of Team ‘Holistic Health’ and that is, Mr. Kapha Dosha!

This member of the team is known for being thoughtful, loving and calm and is the most protective of the other three in the team. His looks are attractive as he sports large eyes, radiant skin, thick hair and a strong build. Though this guy gets depressed and stressed easily often, he is patient and steady most of the times. A disciplined guy who is comfortable with his routine, Mr. Kapha Dosha gets good sleep at night and doesn’t really know what an upset stomach feels like!

Read on to know more about the characteristics of Mr. Kapha Dosha, how to keep him happy and Dos and Don’ts if he’s accompanying you.

The Kapha Dosha is associated with the earth element and is composed of water and earth. Kapha Dosha, when out of balance leads to a slow and sluggish metabolism due to which one gains weight rapidly and feels sleepy most of the times.

If you are Kapha Doshik, losing weight and being skinny can sound impossible to you. Thanks, but no thanks, to your slow metabolism.

If you feel, you are bi-doshik and not purely Kapha Doshik, then check out my posts on Vata Dosha and Pitta Dosha.
