It’s been a very exciting start for WorkoutTrends.com (formerly healthse.in) since July, 2013 when we just went online. HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training)

“High Intensity Interval Training is an enhanced form of interval training in which alternating periods of workout – short and intense, spaced by long and less intense. The lesser intense period is called the recovery period. HIIT evolved with contribution from independent coaches to prepare runners for greater efficiency in the 70s. Peter Coe, Tabata, Gibala and Timmons were the names of coaches that started these four kinds of regiment under HIIT. Earlier, people knew it by the name of “Fartlek” training, which stood for Speed Play in Swedish.”
