What is Superman Exercise?

This exercise helps in strengthening your Middle & Lower Back / Lats as the primary muscles. It also benefits Abs & Obliques as secondary muscles.

How to do Superman Exercise?

  1. Lay down on an exercising mat with your face down.
  2. Extend your arms completely above your head and stretch your legs behind you.
  3. Pull up your chest, arms and legs from the mat.
  4. Let only your quadriceps and lower abdomen to stay in contact with the exercising mat.
  5. Squeeze your abdominal muscles and obliques.
  6. Hold there for a moment.
  7. Repeat after returning to the initial position.
