You will require barbell/EZ-bar to do this exercise.

 

HOW TO DO UPRIGHT BARBELL ROW ?

Performing the 7 steps below, you will be able to do this exercise properly:

  1. Hold a barbell with an overhand grip of your hands at shoulder’s width apart.
  2. The Barbell should reach your upper thigh region.
  3. Bend your elbows slightly but maintain the straightness of your arms.
  4. Using your shoulder sides, pull the barbell upwards, exhaling as you do so.
  5. Point your elbows outwards while you are doing this exercise, and keep the barbell close to your body as you raise it.
  6. Pull the barbell till it reaches just below your chin region.
  7. Inhaling your breathe, return to the starting/initial position and repeat.

 

ARE THERE ANY OTHER ALTERNATIVES TO PERFORM UPRIGHT BARBELL ROW ?

Yes, you may do this exercise using a straight bar attached to a cable station or dumbbells.
