HOW TO DO SEATED DUMBBELL CURL?

Performing the 10 steps below, you will be able to do this exercise properly:

  1. Be seated on a flat bench and with an underhand grip hold a dumbbell in each of your hands.
  2. Maintain the straightness of your back, while keeping your shoulders back.
  3. Keep your elbows close to your sides and arms fully extended.
  4. Rotate your palms so that they are facing inwards.
  5. Keep your upper arms stationary while you start to pull the dumbbells upwards in a smooth arc.
  6. As you do so rotate your wrists, so that your palms face outwards by the time you finish.
  7. Keep the movement continued until the dumbbells are at shoulder level and biceps fully contracted.
  8. Hold for a count of one as you flex your biceps.
  9. Return.
  10. Repeat.
